Unit 16 · Plans and opinionsA2Lesson 5 of 5: Linking ideas

Linking words in European Portuguese

This is the last of 5 lessons in Unit 16, Plans and opinions (Planos e opiniões), an A2 unit in which you talk about plans and wishes, give your opinion, agree or disagree, and compare things. The new words are porque (because), por isso (that's why), mas (but) and 4 more, practised in 10 example sentences. Building on Comparisons, it gets you to sentences like Porque é que tu estás a aprender português? (“Why are you learning Portuguese?”).
