Unit 20 · Finding a homeA2Lesson 1 of 5: Flat hunting
Flat hunting in European Portuguese
This lesson opens Unit 20, Finding a home (Arrendar casa), an A2 unit in which you find and rent a flat in Portugal: adverts and viewings, bills, repairs, neighbours and moving day. You will meet 8 new words, such as o T0 (studio flat), o T1 (one-bedroom flat) and o T2 (two-bedroom flat), in 10 short sentences you can listen to. By the end you can say things like O prédio não tem elevador (“The building doesn't have a lift”). The unit’s grammar notes cover “Flat sizes: T0, T1, T2” and “Há or tem?”.
